Shine! Shine! Sunflower!

Picture
I drew myself - an inspiration after contemplating on my sunflowers in my Sanctuary Garden in July 2017.

When we are clear on our true purpose in our life, we step up, and have courage to go forth with love
in our mission.
~ Elizabeth Rutten-Ng

A blessed gift upon my soul and being,
The Sabbatical has offered.
A time to heal,
A time to clarify,
A time to reclaim my gifts,
A time to be,
A time to rest.

During this Sabbatical period, the solitude and space whether in the nature, in my Sanctuary garden, in contemplation, unfolds the depth of my soul and being, where God is.  I rest. I listen. I have an intimate connection and conversation with God.  Unfolds gently like the petals of a flower, the layers of hurts I still need to heal.  I open myself to heal.  Flow peace, love, joy and contentment in my whole being, mind, heart, body, soul and spirit. I am loved by my beloved God. The uplift of what arises be it fear, anger, frustration, pain, sadness, sorrow... I acknowledge and embrace them and love myself unconditionally, in God's embrace.  I reclaim my femininity in me for I contain the masculinity - fighting rhythm in me for a long time. As I create, play, rest and receive and loving myself unconditionally, I claim the balance of the feminine and masculine energy in me, the yin and the yang.

Gratitude sets into my heart and soul.  For the gift of Sabbatical.  Courage and resilience grow.  The lessons in life led me to where I am today.  Nothing is lost.  In fact, gain.  Richer in wisdom.  I see the gift of what each lesson brings.  When I allow it to unfold in the next step I am to partake, I grow with aliveness like the sunflower, shining God's love and light in my mission. Shine! Shine! Like the Sunflower, full of love and light!

A moving sharing. I love the drawing of the heart surrounded by the sunflower.

Wonderful sharing and a clear reminder for me to focus inwards (back to my self). I could feel my well of compassion is running low. Take a moment. Focus back to self.

My deepest pleasure! When our environment and surroundings do not support self-care or not familiar or consciously aware of the essence and importance of self-care, we can forget to take great care of ourselves and our well of compassion runs dry. To be able to have compassion for others, we have to first to be compassionate towards self. May your well of compassion be replenished after taking a moment in focusing back to self. Hugs! <3

Thank you for sharing! It vibrates with me, knowing how inner peace and balance is is so important. It feels heavenly once achieved, but you feel hungry if you loose it. So happy you've found it and keep finding it.

And the video you posted definetly is a mirror. It's so hard sometimes to look at wars, refugees, disasters and suffering and actually be genuinely compassionate. It's there, always and you can dangerously get used to it. It takes effort to place yourself in the shoes of suffering to understand.

Michiel, your sharing is a reflection of deep wisdom for your age! Yes, we can get normalised by what is going on and I hear you, it is very hard to look at wars, refugees, disasters and suffering and be truly compassionate. When we have inner peace, naturally we arise the compassion in us, to deeply care for others in suffering. We do what we can within our capacity to make a difference in the world to bring peace, love and compassion. <3

My desire to post here is to have courage to show up as who I am and in return to inspire each beautiful soul on earth to live life as who he/she is.  I am a seeker so I encourage you to be and continue to be a seeker.  Life is inevitable with ups and downs, challenges along our human journey.  However when we make time to insure the growth of our inner garden - our heart with  self-care, nourishment, growth, healing, play, creativity, silence and loving ourselves unconditionally, we can live life to the fullest with peace, bliss, contentment and gratitude, and  we can go forth to serve others in true joy and love.  I share here my journey with you as well as the ordinary moments I witness, experience and encounter in my daily life.  Let us journey together.  Let our journey begins.  let each of our unique soul's story unfolds like a rose opens her petals, revealing her heart.
