Lesson of the Nature World

Picture
I found this nest on the forest ground while I was taking a walk in our forest garden. Isn't it beautiful? A piece of intricate art!
Every encounter or witness of a creature or plant or soil...is always a precious lesson in itself.
Such a delight! To witness a baby bird learning to fly, spreading her wings, singing... in small little steps.

In the past, I observed and studied human. Now the creatures of our Sanctuary Forest Garden.

What the Nature world teaches me.

The parent birds do not interfere with their baby who are out of the nest. They just keep watch and let the baby bird finds her or his way and learns. They still feed the baby birds for a few days to a week till they are ready to be independent. It varies from species to species. I observe a lot of species fly together as a family with their babies and feeding them. The little ones will play with each other, learning the art to fly, exploring their new world.

Mama & Papa Birds know their babies very well. There is a baby who was the first to leave the nest and the rest are still in the nest. Papa & Mama birds will keep watch over the one who is out and continue to feed the rest in the nest at intervals.

I am truly amazed by how the birds manage it.

I can write a lot more. Till next time. I am off to attend to my garden.

* These are only 2 photos I shared out of a few photos I took. I have taken more photos of a few nests I found in our forest ground. They have fallen out from the trees after the wind and storm. I have also collected eggs shells I found on the ground when we took a walk in our forest garden. I have collected more than what is seen here in the photos. I plan to create a special place in our forest garden for the nests and egg shells where visitors or retreatants can contemplate on.  I share more about giving us support in growing our Sanctuary Forest Garden for the creatures in our forest. Stay in tune with us. Thank you!

Love, Elizabeth & Jeroen*

My desire to post here is to have courage to show up as who I am and in return to inspire each beautiful soul on earth to live life as who he/she is.  I am a seeker so I encourage you to be and continue to be a seeker.  Life is inevitable with ups and downs, challenges along our human journey.  However when we make time to insure the growth of our inner garden - our heart with  self-care, nourishment, growth, healing, play, creativity, silence and loving ourselves unconditionally, we can live life to the fullest with peace, bliss, contentment and gratitude, and  we can go forth to serve others in true joy and love.  I share here my journey with you as well as the ordinary moments I witness, experience and encounter in my daily life.  Let us journey together.  Let our journey begins.  let each of our unique soul's story unfolds like a rose opens her petals, revealing her heart.
